A Kurdish group linked to the PKK have claimed responsiblity for the bombs that went off in 5 locations in Turkey, killing several people and injuring dozens.

Were there any Westerners killed?

A couple of British holiday makers yes, and a couple of Turks I think, mostly injuries. The terrorist group are warning holiday makers to stay away.

If we knew the answer to that one Chocs, we could solve most of the Worlds problems. Another tragedy for innocent families.

I heard on the car radio that 10 British nationals along with scores of turkish nationals were killed.

The Kurds want an independent homeland, no one is interested in speaking with them to find a political solution.

Wanting an independent homeland is the major cause of troubles in the world today:

IRA - Northern Ireland (now political solution being sought)
Tamil Tigers - Sri Lanka
Baluchistan in Pakistan
ETA - Spain

Historically, you had Ergun blowing up British soldiers in Palestine and eventually winning their objective and getting Israel created. Nelson Mandela was the leader of the armed wing of the ANC and organised many guerilla attacks against the government.

At the end of the day, people should talk.
