Transliteration 4: Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi ma lakum min doonihi min waliyyin wala shafeeAAin afala tatathakkaroona
Yusuf Ali 4: It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition?
Shakir 4: Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods, and He mounted the throne (of authority); you have not besides Him any guardian or any intercessor, will you not then mind?
Pickthal 4: Allah it is Who created the heavens and the earth, and that which is between them, in six Days. Then He mounted the Throne. Ye have not, beside Him, a protecting friend or mediator. Will ye not then remember?
M. Khan 4: Allah it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Walee (protector or helper etc.) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)?

Transliteration 16: Qul man rabbu alssamawati waalardi quli Allahu qul afaittakhathtum min doonihi awliyaa la yamlikoona lianfusihim nafAAan wala darran qul hal yastawee alaAAma waalbaseeru am hal tastawee alththulumatu waalnnooru am jaAAaloo lillahi shurakaa khalaqoo kakhalqihi fatashabaha alkhalqu AAalayhim quli Allahu khaliqu kulli shayin wahuwa alwahidu alqahharu
Yusuf Ali 16: Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "(Allah) is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."
Shakir 16: Say: Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?-- Say: Allah. Say: Do you take then besides Him guardians who do not control any profit or harm for themselves? Say: Are the blind and the seeing alike? Or can the darkness and the light be equal? Or have they set up with Allah associates who have created creation like His, so that what is created became confused to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Supreme.
Pickthal 16: Say (O Muhammad): Who is Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say: Allah. Say: Take ye then (others) beside Him for protectors, which, even for themselves, have neither benefit nor hurt? Say: Is the blind man equal to the seer, or is darkness equal to light? Or assign they unto Allah partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation (which they made and His creation) seemed alike to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Almighty.

Transliteration 2: Allahu allathee rafaAAa alssamawati bighayri AAamadin tarawnaha thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree liajalin musamman yudabbiru alamra yufassilu alayati laAAallakum biliqai rabbikum tooqinoona
Yusuf Ali 2: Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.
Shakir 2: Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you see, and He is firm in power and He made the sun and the moon subservient (to you); each one pursues its course to an appointed time; He regulates the affair, making clear the signs that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.
Pickthal 2: Allah it is Who raised up the heavens without visible supports, then mounted the Throne, and compelled the sun and the moon to be of service, each runneth unto an appointed term; He ordereth the course; He detaileth the revelations, that haply ye may be certain of the meeting with your Lord.
M. Khan 2: Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He Istawa (rose above) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round)! Each running (its course) for a term appointed. He regulates all affairs, explaining the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.
French 2: Allah est Celui qui a élevé [bien haut] les cieux sans piliers visibles. Il S'est établi [istawa] sur le Tròne et a soumis le soleil et la lune, chacun poursuivant sa course vers un terme fixé. Il règle l'Ordre [de tout] et expose en détail les signes afin que vous ayez la certitude de la rencontre de votre Seigneur.
Spanish 2: Alá es quien elevó los cielos sin pilares visibles. Luego, se instaló en el Trono y sujetó el sol y la luna, prosiguiendo los dos su curso hacia un término fijo. Él lo dispone todo. Explica detalladamente los signos. Quizás, así, estéis convencidos del encuentro de vuestro Señor.
Indonesian 2: Allah-lah Yang meninggikan langit tanpa tiang (sebagaimana) yang kamu lihat, kemudian Dia bersemayam di atas 'Arsy, dan menundukkan matahari dan bulan. Masing-masing beredar hingga waktu yang ditentukan. Allah mengatur urusan (makhluk-Nya), menjelaskan tanda-tanda (kebesaran-Nya), supaya kamu meyakini pertemuan (mu) dengan Tuhanmu.
Melayu 2: Allah jualah yang menjadikan langit terangkat tinggi dengan tiada bertiang sebagaimana yang kamu melihatnya, kemudian Dia bersemayam di atas Arasy dan Dia memudahkan matahari dan bulan (untuk faedah makhluk-makhlukNya); tiap-tiap satu dari keduanya beredar untuk suatu masa yang telah ditetapkan. Allah jualah yang mentadbirkan segala urusan; Dia menerangkan tanda-tanda kekuasaanNya satu-persatu, supaya kamu yakin kepada pertemuan Tuhan kamu (untuk menerima balasan).
German 2: Allah ist es, Der die Himmel, die ihr sehen könnt, ohne Stützpfeiler emporgehoben hat. Dann herrschte Er über Sein Reich. Und Er machte die Sonne und den Mond dienstbar; jedes (Gestirn) läuft seine Bahn in einer vorgezeichneten Frist. Er bestimmt alle Dinge. Er macht die Zeichen deutlich, auf daß ihr an die Begegnung mit eurem Herrn fest glauben möget.
Russian 2: Аллах вознес небеса без опор, которые вы могли бы увидеть, а затем вознесся на Трон (или утвердился на Троне). Он подчинил солнце и луну, и они движутся к назначенному сроку. Он управляет делами и разъясняет знамения, – быть может, вы будете убеждены во встрече со своим Господом.

Transliteration 14: Innanee ana Allahu la ilaha illa ana faoAAbudnee waaqimi alssalata lithikree
Yusuf Ali 14: "Verily, I am Allah. There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise.
Shakir 14: Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance:
Pickthal 14: Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance.
M. Khan 14: "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance.
