No it is a change of view by the international community, if locals are allowed to continue as they are going and then the international community can return at a later date and take control

I don't see how this is surprising... the majority of my countrymen and women want our troops out of Iraq. A significant proportion also objected to going to war - and marched against it, as well as other protests.

The tragedy is that what we were all saying would be the consequences of not continuing to allow the UN to do their job has been proved correct - unnecessary killings and sufferings of the Iraqis and an increase in the threat of terrorism.

Good to see that my 'ilk' is just that of the majority of the UK. Thanks for pointing out that we are in the majority.

Sorry Arnie but the spelling of Ilk is correct:

Ilk: –noun 1. family, class, or kind: he and all his ilk.

Elk: Is just the European name for the American or Canadian Moose.

And I agree with the article, bring our boys home!!! Screw Washington, screw the 'mission' it's screwed anyway. Leave everyone else to do their own thing.

Concord is NOT Mr. and Mrs. Enquirer Mr. and Mrs. Enquirer has been plaguing this forum for some time now and wouldn't have the balls to come out and meet any forumers - unlike Concord who in fact has met many of us. Any mod can check the IPs to see if they match.
