The episode happened a long time ago and taught me a valuable lesson about not making assumptions about others or projecting my values onto another person. It made me think - I am not revolted or surprised that nonMuslims or Non-Jews ate pork, but I did project my Muslim view of Pork onto my Jewish friend.
I believe it made me a little more open minded and world wise - my values are my own and people are entitled to their own values. I have no more right to hold my values than they have to hold theirs.
