I've given up on TV here, it's pants at the best of times, so I've reverted to watching series on downloads or streaming or box sets.

Current favourites:

Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice
Star Trek: Voyager (revisiting this)
The Walking Dead (just such an amazing show! Utterly brilliant!)
The Big Bang Theory (soooo funny, just cracks me up 'Penny knnoooccckk knnooock Penny')

I agree with the walking dead. I'm also enjoying "Revenge" (yeah, yeah, I know)
Survivor and The Amazing Race are two others that I like.
There is a new one - The Killing. I taped the first episode, but have yet to watch it.
Also watch "Chopped" - talk about creative cooking with a strange combination of items.

Aside from those, can't think of much else. Have my DVDs. Going to watch The Help and The Hangover, and I have my books (Decided to go with a Kindle, so someone is bringing me one from the States). Watched "Flypaper" last night with Patrick Dempsey. Had a few good laughs in it.

I don't watch tv

I used to love ER. It's having a rerun on Sky Atlantic at the moment. Boston Legal is another one I used to Sky+ on series link.

Two of my current favoutites are Damages, a legal drama series with Glen Close and Blue Bloods, which is an American Police drama shot in NYC. All 3 generations of the same family are cops. Tom Selleck (he's still got something ) is the dad and the Police Commisioner and former Marine and Donnie Wahlberg (formerly of New Kids on The Block) is his son who has seen action in Iraq.

My absolute favourite at the moment is An Idiot Abroad. Karl Pilkington is from Manchester and he does what I can only describe as a travel documentary.
You may need an British sense of humour to get him.

I procured a copy of the first series of Downton Abbey after I read it won 4 Emmy’s recently, an Edwardian period drama set in Yorkshire pre WW1, it is reminiscent of ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ with a storyline that moves as fast as a soap opera, it’s worth a watch though.

I also recently found a channel on OSN, iConcert on 454, Later with Jools Holland is featured and I’ve seen concerts with Lenny Kravitz and Dave Gilmour already!

Downton Abbey has just finished in the UK.

They are a randy bunch in Yorkshire!

Me too ive totally given up on TV here do i have also resorted to downloads, I prefer to watch comedy so i am currently watching:
1: The king of Queens
2: two and a half men
3: how i met your mother

Other series i still have to watch which were highly recommended are:
Dexter and Game of thrones

I have watched all of the friends series so i only watch that rarely now.

I love TV shows, here are some definite must watch:

-Breaking Badv [-- starts slow but gets amazing
-Dexter [-- got me hooked on TV shows
-Its always sunny in philadelphia [-- bench pressing while watching a show once and i almost dropped the barbell in my neck while laughing.
-Game of thrones
-The Wire
-Arrested development
-True blood

oh and I downloaded them all like a true pirate.

-Two and a half men: not sure whether I want to continue. I want Charlie back!

-BB theory: also not sure anymore, after 4 seasons the jokes are getting predictable. I still continue with season 5 though, but might stop.
