AV, PVD was terrible at Peppermint. God knows how he got voted Number 1 DJ, he couldn't decide what sort of music to play. I've definately heard him do better.

I couldn't have put it better myself Chocs. Waited all that time for him to come on and then I thought the guy who warmed up for him did a much better job. Gotta give him credit the first 15 minutes of his set was good, the rest was sub par.

Nelson or MadJam, yeah that guy is awsome, he should just play on his own, he was great before Sander aswell.

I like the first two (older albums) but never heard of Agalloch. I'll have to look it up. Anyway my favorite genre is actually the "beauty and the beast" genre. A la Tristania if you wish. Angelic woman voice + growls... Oh man, ppl who don't know what I'm talking about must think I am crazy

BTW, if you don't know Epica, Penumbra, Lacrimas Profundere and Trail of Tears you should definitely try to find some of their albums. Oh and IMO the absolute best album in the "beauty and the beast" genre is "Velvet Darkness they fear" by Theatre of Tragedy... Simply put: orgasmic
