Not sure that 'The Apprentice' is a reality show, but I enjoy watching that..
I also think that the original relality shows which follow real people around - eg the 7 up series of programmes are really interesting from a social history perspective. I also enjoy the 'faking it' programmes...
But hey - I'm just a little bit of a telly addict, just a little more selective in my old age now..
Either post you dont like them, or post you do, make yer mind up mate
and we all know you cant wait for the summer edition of BB 2006 - rumour has it you have booked 7 weeks off starting the end of May so you can fly back and watch Ch 4 non stop
I think it funny that 10 years ago in the UK we used to find it fascinating to watch clips of Japanese programmes such as 'endurance' where contestants would do stupid stunts. We all collectively shook our heads and thought it weird that people would do such things and wondered why anyone would watch it?
Now we have 'Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' ...!?
Hey, people like to watch these types of programmes - fair enough.
We were overseas (censorship - big time on anything that closely could be misconstrued as sex except for gratuitous violence of course! ) and missed the whole BB thing. When we got home I watched it for about 2 1/2 minutes and I just don't get the attraction? A bunch of no-hopers being big DH's and thinking they're cool because they are on TV. Can go down to the pub in the early hours of the morning and see similar behaviour.
