Just saw this amazing film! If you liked films such as Traffic or Crash, you will be sure to enjoy this one. It is three intertwining stories, all beautifully done. The cinematography and the mise en-scene were gorgeous. Cate Blanchette annoyed me throughout the film though and the final ending scene was a bit creepy ...anyway try and watch it!

I couldn't help but compare this Arriaga/Iñárritu collaboration to their previous work - Amores Perros - which I think is a far better trio-story.
Though I think it's generally good, I didn't think the storyline in Babel held up. There was a bit of disconnect. But the acting is incredible, really great genuine acting, especially on the part of the unknown and on-location actors. I think Blanchette is great, the only annoying actor here was Brad Pitt (imho).
