...true of course, but only for people without a liquor licence. If you are non-muslim and own a liqour licence it is ok to transport booze in your car within/through Sharjah and even to consume beer/booze at your home in Sharjah. It is even possible to get a liquour licence in Sharjah as a Sharjah...
