Planes only. They don't want oily engine bays destroying the corals ;) Not really. They sank some chassis and tires off Fujairah coast for artificial reefs and a dive spot called "car cemetery" at depth of 15 meters. The guide made a joke that it was a Bentley ;) Some pics I took when div...

Past midnight / 24hours restaurants

Ok, you suffer from insomnia or just coming back from clubbing. You are starving and need to find a restaurant past midnight. Let's list all the restaurants/cafes (not in a hotel, please) that open past midnight or 24 hours. My take: CHOWKING - Asian restaurant - 24hours - Karama, near/opp Central P...

there's more than marriage, but keeping raising a family happily. it takes a lot of commitment.

if one thinks one can't commit, then one should not get into marriage, let alone raising family. otherwise it will end up into divorce and broken family. be a happy single instead.

You are there because you want to be there, not because you have to be there (because you are married). totally agree. Relationships take commitment, regardless if by virtue of marriage or not. People can create a family unit without the benefit of marriage. but I still don't get that if both the c...

But I do think that sensible people who maybe have lost their love can still stay together and make a good home for their children (to whom they should want to give all their love and protection) so long as they are not shouting and screaming at each other. Unfortunately, today the cult is for peop...

No it's not an old-fashioned idea. A legal contract ( marriage) is not a bad idea. But it turns into a double-egged sword when parents have to live together unwillingly because of ur legal contract. the effect of a sore marriage and a divorce on kids is all the same. How a living-together (no legal...

As long as it's not categorized as adult-related, piracy, VPN, VoIP, and some other sensitive matters, I believe you can access them.

Some people have paid VPN service to overcome those though, but said that the ISPs are tracking those violators.

"7. Driving without a driver’s licence" ---> it's irrelevant for me. having the UAE license doesn't mean no/less accident than without it (example experienced driver who has already other countries' licenses).

As like some other airports in other countries, most probably the current one will be used for domestic/regional/low cost airlines, where the new Al Maktoum will be for long haul/international flights. And about the high passenger traffic in Dubai, it must be traffic OUT of the country due to crisis...

Etisalat has also been doing FTTH for some old buildings in the city. Mine just got enabled yesterday. I notice only Discovery HD and Voom HD channels so far on e-Vision's Orbit package. It may take couple of years to mature with more channels (and Blue Ray discs) to come.

I heard that also, about 1000dhs, but I don't pay a penny so far, the technician said it's free of charge. They installed the unit, convert all my landline phone, e-Vision, and Al Shamil DSL. Maybe for the new customer?

Procedure to open a case against FZ company?

Anyone knows the procedure to open a case against FZ company? Should we go first to the FZ authority, or Ministry of Labour, or directly to court? The company refuses to pay part of pending salary and end-of-service benefits.
