In regards to pricing, you are right in that we quote prices according to approximate square footage, i.e. the larger the car the higher the price. The price you got was excellent, good job with the negotiating skills What negotiation? The price was fixed. And as I told earlier, I should have got c...

Hi XTY, 3M Authorized Dealers try to charge per size as much as possible, thus there are 5 categories: small cars, medium cars, large cars, 4x4's and Extra Large 4x4's. It would get quite complicated to have a different price for every vehicle in the market and measuring every car that drives into ...

With apparently newer version of Facebook, now they use another server (fbcdn.net) to serve the contents of the site (image, scripts, etc), instead of facebook.com. Etisalat doesn't block facebook.com domain but unfortunately it blocks fbcdn.net, therefore it doesn't display & work properly. Eit...

its a small dog, so a small patch of grass that allows dogs on is enough. If I were the landlord or the neighbors of you, it's not about big or small, it's how frequent & loud the dog barks ;) Think about a Pomerian, small but very noisy ;) There are not much greeneries in Dubai and there's too...

Based on friend's experience. 1. Go to Dubai Courts and open a case (with necessary documents) and have an appointment in Family Guidance section (a must before proceeding to court). 2. If both can't reconcile, they make a reference letter for you to register a case at the court (Registration Sectio...

Child daycare around Al Barsha/Tecom/Greens?

I'm considering relocating my child school (from Al Ghusais) and at the same time my apt (from Karama) to somewhere in Al Barsha (nearer to office in DIC). However it's mandatory that I need a daycare for the child (afternoon after school till evening after office) nearby the place too. Anyone knows?

You should make it private.
Congratulation to publish it, it's a matter of time when this will be blocked as well.

PS: I'm using it, works great, but a bit slow lately and sometimes got disconnected.

Securing residency visa (by setting up FZ business)?

Due to some personal/family reason, I must stay in UAE probably for very long time. At the moment I'm employed/sponsored by my current employer in DIC, but it doesn't mean I'll be unemployed, but rather to have a safeguard if something goes wrong with current company then I can switch to another job...

How much the extra would you pay? Just pay if it's worth the money than to move out (again you'll pay for commission, deposit, and all the hassles). You're lucky that you get only 5% increase. In my case, the landlord/agent doesn't want to renew and ask me to leave without notice as per law (min 90 ...

Either it will be bounced back to the sender or stuck in central/nearby post office for some times. Happened both to me.

If it's registered, check the status if possible. When the goods has arrived at post office, then you (receiver) can come and collect (showing an ID).

* Though you can consume alcohol in bars/hotels freely and home (if you have permission), just don't drink it in public or get drunk. * Don't stare or take photos of locals especially the women with black abayas. It's considered offensive. Unless for some tourist spots like at Heritage Village, some...

Greens is just across the street from DIC (it's only 200 meters by walk through a flyover/interchange), but you need to make long turns to cross by car. DIC to Greens, turn near Marina. Bur Dubai (Golden Sands area) could be an alternative. mid-up class, lots of shops, coffee shops, supermarket, bars, hotels, restaurants, almost anything you can find by walk. Marina is a big area. As there's none in Dubai, I bought underwater camera worth $700 through eBay which I checked that it has a real store in Utah, US. Just curious, I found many Asian women hooked up (or eventually getting married) with white men. But I found it rare for Asian men hooked up with white women (or the other way around). No need for lawyer if BOTH of you mutually agreed on the divorce. BOTH of you go to Family Counseling section first at Dubai Court. Normally they will settle the couples first, but if you both agreed, then it would be easy and fast. You can't open a divorce case at court without their recommendation...
