Interesting debate going on guys.. However i firmly believe that the real estate market is bound to go down.. for 2 reasons 1. there is a limit to which the buyers are ready to pay.. at some point even though the investors are going to be bit cautious as the relative return is going to be much lower...

To be honest, you will struggle to live a good lifestyle with this salary.. 1BHK apt in Greens / Marina / JBR wth todays market rate will cost you no less than 130K. You might have to settle for places like International city which is a bit crap area.. And believe me, you would be expected to pay th...

have they offered a comprehensive health insurance? do you have a family?
Still the salary is not good enough for you to make this move..
You are better off in India...
With no housing n no transporation (u woun't get a car license for 1 year), you will struggle to survive in dubai..

You can pay in 2 cheques if thats gives any comfort!

But if you agree to pay one cheque, you can negotiate a bit.. I did pay in one cheque and managed to reduce the rent by 7-8k..

Not sure now though.. as the rents should start falling soon..
