Well I guess it was waste of money making those islands but Dubai did gain publicity. The mantainence cost for maintaining those islands must be huge. Now I heard Dubai is making Las Vegas style casinos and world's largest hotel. I guess some sectors of Dubai economy really needs to be looked up on...
