Re: What's Going On??

Hate wrapped in the guise of free speech, particularly with the intent to incite violence, such as the case under discussion, is despicable, and totally condemnible!! Well said. As eh's link to Haaretz reports - the UN is also quite clear on this: A statement on his behalf said that while "not...

Re: "Hollywood Scam" By Extremists

Yes, it is funny when Coptic women beat the silly fanatic over his spreading of hate. I think they were right to point out that he was supporting a film that put people's lives in danger. With even the film-maker distancing himself from the film - it seems only extremists like yourself are speaking ...

Re: "Hollywood Scam" By Extremists

Name calling is all you have left - but then again, you are pretty much only a small bunch of extremists world wide who are supporting the video.

Cheers,

Re: What's Going On??

You are in a very small minority of extremists who are supporting the film made by Egyptian Christians, and supported by your fellow evangelist US Christians. Do you consider Coptic Christians to be 'Westerners' or only the few Evangelist extremists who are promoting the falsehoods in the video as t...

Re: What's Going On??

Who are you asking?

Just imagining that you're not just a small bunch of extremist hate-filled fanatics out of step with the rest of the world who are condemning this video won't help you. ;)

Re: "Hollywood Scam" By Extremists

This thread is about the scam artist behind this video - I'm really not interested in your strawmen. After all, you're only trying to distract from the fact that you're pretty isolated in your beliefs about this particular film. I happen to agree with the Coptic women, UN, US administration, Israeli...

Re: What's Going On??

All fringe, fanatical, extremist, conspiracy nuts are sure that everyone else is wrong and are falling for the 'bandwagon fallacy'. I'm not surpised that you believe that all normal people are wrong, but I'm surprised that you're celebrating your extremist minority views for all to see. ;) Cheers, S...

Re: What's Going On??

I wasn't aware that agreeing with all the normal people who are condemning the video for what it is constituted an 'argument' or amounted to a demonstration of, or lack of, critical thinking. Neither is pointing out that it appears only extremist anti-Muslim haters like yourself are the ones who are...

Syria - Still fighting, but not in the news

The BBC has an interesting article on the long history of fighting in Syria - going back 800 years: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-19600546 It also made me think about how fickle the news cycle is - with Libya, youtube riots and topless Royal Photos making bigger headlines than the on-g...

Re: Frenchman Shot

^It was a French gun-dog at that - a Blue Gascony Basset. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some dog-haters out there who believe the dog was part of a world-wide canine conspiracy against humankind, but personally I think the haters are just sad and twisted and are to be pitied. ;) Cheers, Shaf...

Attack of the Shears

I couldn't help but laugh at the name of the Amish leader in this story about a religious dispute in the USA: Amish leader Samuel Mullet and 15 others guilty of hate crime http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/63022000/jpg/_63022431_63022430.jpg Members of an Amish breakaway group have been found gu...

^I agree completely with you eh. The belief in a canine conspiracy theory is exactly the same as your belief in another conspiracy theory concerning the author you have failed to smear: http://www.dubaiforums.com/philosophy-dubai/hasan-karmi-anti-semite-t43065.html and http://www.dubaiforums.com/dub...

Burn your Iphone 5s - says religious leader

No, not another crazee Mullah or doo-lally evangelist - but in this case it is an Ultra-Orthodox Rabbi saying Iphone 5s should be burnt. Had this been an Imam, there would no doubt be threads started on how backwards Islam is and how uncivilised Muslims are etc. As it is, normal people recognise tha...

Arrest for Facebook Blasphemy

Thousands of Christians from around the world complained about a Facebook page, resulting in the police arresting the author of the page for blasphemy and insulting a 'mystical' priest. In Europe. In Greece (I'd like to see the argument that Greeks are uncivilised or savages) ;) ). In 2012. ...

Choose Love

Some positive anti-Islamophobic messages from Jewish and Christian Americans countering the hate-messages by a vocal few who have taken out ads on NY subway (and elsewhere). It is a shame that this section is now so infected with hate. :( http://www.loonwatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Choose-Lo...

My interesting thread

I spent a pleasant afternoon yesterday reading a book under a lychee tree in my garden whilst occasionally gazing on the japanese garden feature. It was nice to commune with nature.. When was the last time you had a relaxing time... and where was it?  (Anyway, nice to see that this forum ...

I also go fishing occasionally too.

We tend to throw back the small fry we catch, especially the bitter and twisted variety that tend that are just annoying to other fish. ;) :)

Do you go fishing often? Caught anything lately?? :alien: :alien:

Re: My Interesting Thread

Did someone say mountain climbing in Mauritius? It is indeed another one of my hobbies - along with snorkelling, cycling, hiking etc. Winter is indeed a good time to go climbing - but those who know how to use Google will know that Mauritius is in the southern hemisphere and we're going into summer....

Re: My Interesting Thread

I went on a deer hunt with some friends recently We have deer hunting here too - but not really my thing, as they don't stalk the deer but shoot them with rifles from hides. I did try my hand out with a compound bow in the US - one used for deer hunting. Those things are lethal (and more powerful t...

Hatred towards Malala from EDL

Malala Yousafzai is undergoing treatment in the UK and most normal people are siding with the brave girl, including the thousands of Pakistanis who have demonstrated in public (and really putting their lives at risk in a country where this can make you a target of extremists). However, some extremis...

EDL - fringe group

A recent survey in Britain shows that the EDL are indeed a fringe, extremist group in the UK: http://extremisproject.org/2012/10/the-english-defence-league-edl-what-do-people-think/ It is interesting to note that the EDL supporters on this forum hype their importance and seem to be in denial that mo...

Re: Blogger Spin Vs Truth - Gaza Baby

Baby Omar's death was spun by bloggers who tried to blame a rogue Palestinian rocket, rather than an Israeli bomb which killed him and blew off the head of his aunt. It seems a bit cold-hearted to refer to this slaughter as 'unlucky'. However, this thread is about the lies the pro-Israeli bloggers s...
