Just as an update, we were really worried about this earlier in the year whilst trying to book our son a place in Reception. All schools were full and had long waiting lists. This (we were told) is because people over-subscribe and pay deposits to many schools. then when they are ready they simply c...

All schools were booked solid, because every prospective family paid a deposit on many schools, hoping to...

Hello, I am bringing my family to Dubai for the very opposite reasons. I thing that its a perfectly reasonable place to bring my boy up. He is 4 now and starting school. There are better schools in Dubai than anything the UK councils can offer. We cant afford private education in the UK but the tax ...

Twisties, lots and lots of twisties. A272 across southern England from Petersfield to Uckfield.

Sun soaked Sunday and home for a BBQ in the afternoon.

Aaaahhh, I shall miss that.

These are a mean looking machine, I like them a lot.

My wife has her heart set on a Nissan Murano, which i also like very much. I might persuade her to visit a 2nd hand Audi dealership as well though.....

Only ever done Formula Ford at Brands and Palmer Sport Audis, which are impressive.

Always wanted to try it, probably a bit fat though. That second seat looks a bit tight.... :-)

I lived in Zimbabwe after graduation, until things got silly. Then returned to the UK and am now off to sunny Dub.

Zimbabwe is a wonderful country, much misunderstood.

I would love to get back on a bike, but would be seriously worried about the constant lane changing. There are no rules, left, right, wherever there's a space.

All it takes is someone in a hummer to miss his blind spot and Bam!

I'll be sure to check them out as I also want an aftermarket tint installed.

Thanks

Part Time Work

This may have been posted before, apologies.

My wife is looking for part-time work while our son is at school (basically up to 1-2pm)

Any ideas? All I can think of are the schools themselves.

Its horrible and very dangerous I usually slow down and make them change lanes. There seems to be no rules on overtaking or undertaking so they dont stay long, as soon as there's a space they're gone. I would imagine the UK. When you start a career you are usually on a lowwer income whilst developing your skillsets. Its seems out here that most firms want both post grad + experience. Therefore with the cost of living etc I would say get at least a couple of post grad UK years under your belt and ...

Is the hospital registration form the same as the insurance form? If so I would correct it, if they are seperate, you should be fine.

Dont lie on the insurance forms. If they are looked into Bonk is correct, they will not pay out for anything.

My wife went yesterday when (she thought) it would be quiet. Nightmare and apart from the aqaurium not worth going yet.

She also said they look like they are going to charge for parking. Is this because of its proximity to financial centre?

The reason the celebs are here is because they are invited to do so. Tax free haven and mostly fantastic weather, of course they are tempted.
