I just bought myself an iPad recently, but judging by announcements by other players (Samsung and Blackberry), Apple's really under-spec-ed the iPad. And everyone else seems to be gravitating towards the 7" form factor now.

Seriously, for companies that have such crazy high margins and net profit, they're quite behind the curve when it comes to technology. And yes, their PR engines manage to make everything seem like a superhuman feat that nobody else anywhere in the world could have achieved.
