I can move my earlobes alternately

I can blur my vision my contracting muscles in my eyes (cornea?) But a doctor told me it's a normal but rare condition.

But in Sharjah, during my stay in this hotel two policemen came and argued with the receptionist and the owner. Apparently there was a report that a guy checked in the morning and then a girl went up to his room later that night.

I am planning on sharing a place with my male friends in Dubai (I'm sick of the Sharjah-Dubai traffic) and the caretaker of one of the places I inquired about told me that it is also prohibited for a group of males to share an apartment/villa/flat in dubai. Huh?? Is that true?

I remember that Friendster bit.. It was news back in my country when it was blocked here. Filipinos are Friendster fanatics you know and, so they say, almost all filipinos here in dubai protested and petitionned to unblock the site. I guess it worked

He's yellow, ribbed, and all smiles... what's the name of this mascot? What's it supposed to be? what does it represent?

You can even see some street signs mounted with a Modhesh smile. I don't see any relevance..
Maybe it's a way to encourage dubai people to smile from time to time?

I live near a mall and a row of restos/coffee shops and I'm just wondering if I can catch free WiFi access from them while I'm not yet eligible to acquire DSL...

Try chinatown at night for all three- food, drinks, and shopping. But it can get very touristy...

In my opinion, racism is everywhere, its just that in all the places I've seen and been to, it is in Dubai that it is so highlighted. You can even categorize jobs here by race...
