they pushed all openings on the red line to mid april, 2 month delay. that was the latest news. they opened up burj dubai as the tower opened but the rest of the red line is supposed to be all opening together, which at this point is april, which means most likely april 2011

yeah 97.3 is terrific, they don't play the same 8 songs over and over. from listening to it, it seemed like someone's ipod and every 90 min they remember to play a new pop song. its made my commute into AD easier every day.

for reckless driving like that, arrested and car impounded on the spot. if you're a few miles over the speed limit cops have the lee-way to give you a speeding ticket only. but at those types of speeds, locked up right away.

try putting the battery and phone in a bag with rice to let it dry out. i had dropped a phone into the bath and this trick completely dried it out and let me save all the pictures/contacts off the phone.

edit: make sure the battery is removed from the phone, to allow it to dry separately

Does the ipad have flash? if not, then it's not worth buying for surfing or videos. i would get the xoom if i were you, that's what i just bought and it's fantastic.

i got mine done at British Lasik Center as well and can attest to them being very good. i'm very happy with my procedure and i've had it for a few years now. can't remember cost but it was the same as i would have paid stateside.

stay in the US, i was over there for close to 4 years and wouldn't go back. you won't find a job at the 17K like you think, like Choc said there's a ton of out of work folks willing to work for 1/8 that salary.

if you're from the states, forget about customer service or service times. but you said you're coming from china and from my travels there, it'll be similar in dubai. when i 1st moved there from the states i had to learn patience.

i used to work for BP as well and on their maps showing their Well locations it's referred to as the arabian gulf. the NOC's in the GCC are sensitive to that.
