well, where I came from wasn't this bad and I thought it was awful. I know it's the same everywhere on earth, but some people have peace in certain places and not all. That's why I think of or hoping to return soon. and to other response: I know i've been looking in wrong places, but what is right?!

Lets just say where I came from, is not middle east. and it rains and rains and rains....
But the sunshine in Dubai hasn't been enough reason for me to stay.

I was stuck on new years' eve last year without any reservations. I can tell you it's frustrating ... But if you like outdoors and just wanna be among people and feel happy, breath the clean air and get a snack... there is also the beach to go to! I went with few friends like me, and we had a blast ...

I'm not the best person to comment on this, since I live in Dubai. But had one experience last month which I had to stay in Abu Dhabi overnight. There is a Motel right across Al Shafa hospital. I think it's called Gava or Gafa ... not sure. The rate was 580 and great basic service. very clean, excel...

I would be happy if they even limit it to 2-3 smokes per person. I am in house arrest cause I can not find anywhere with a moderate smoking rules. It's either suffocation, or staying home. I have never watched so many movies at home
