travel back to home country with out residence visa

Hi,

i have to travel to my country on emergency ( grand mother is in serious condition), i recently came to UAE on employement visa and haven't applied for the residence visa. is der any problem at the imigration in the airport?? can i leave uae with out applying for residence visa??
