Actually, no, you were blaming the wife for not taking care of her man and justifying men cheating, then saying the man shouldn't do it. Make up your mind! Your girl will be happy until she finds out you cheat and start blaming her for it. I take it you don't have any kids yet so have n...

LOL. . . It's a bunch of angered cheap-o subcontinent expats crying fowl over an increase in ancillary costs of sending their children to school. Besides those schools cater for those types of expats in particular. 10 dirhams says this poll and thread will not get any attention here nor in alloexpa...

My friends were complaining about 40% or more school fee hikes occurring every year over the past few years. The schools must be transparent and show exactly why the increases are happening and what alternatives they have looked into to keep the costs low.

quatroporte, you just seem really naive and not sure about what exactly you believe. You can't say that a woman should look at what she has done if her man cheats, then say "but" he shouldn't cheat. By saying the woman needs to look at herself as the cause of why her man cheated, that is b...

Here is an online article that reviews research on infidelity. It is 23 pages long... haven't read it all through yet. Very interesting! Maybe none of us know enough about the causes of infidelity... (seems there are too many factors!) Here is one excerpt about gender and infidelity, "Some auth...

So sad, such a freak accident. I'll definitely get my brain scanned if I have a bad fall. Also, this and other recent examples show that people really need to wear helmets on the ski hills - both children and adults. A bit of a separate issue from this case, but relevant to some ski injuries of some...

Its not a shakedown, just a "good samaritan" doing his duty. It is illegal to be drunk in public here and you should respect that, even being aware of the law and still breaking it, then getting caught and screaming foul is no justification. You are seriously lacking in brain cells on thi...

They'll never enforce it, just like the hundreds of other traffic violations that occur every day and are ignored by police who drive right by.

worldguy, you REALLY want to sympathize with the taxi driver. Poor guy, has no choice but to drive a hotel limo (in a seat in AC as compared to the construction workers who work 12hr shifts and work and live in non-AC environments, for example) and no choice but to hustle passengers for more money. ...

According to research talking on a cell phone period, even with a headset is the same level of distraction. As well, it is the same as talking with a passenger in the car. Also, eating and drinking and reading the newspaper and personal grooming are huge factors in many crashes. Why can't people jus...

worldguy, you are adding lots of "what ifs" to the story to try to make your passion for the taxi driver sound more palatable to everyone. The original post didn't say anything about how drunk the passengers were. How do you know they didn't just have 2 or 3 drinks each? We can all play th...

Two wrongs don't make a right! Showing the birdie to absolute strangers on the road is cheap and crass behaviour, which really can't be justified! Oh please, what kind of visual symbol should we use to communicate to someone in another vehicle that they are driving like and a.s.s.hole? The only rea...

I once saw a tourist (male) wearing tight bathing shorts and a t-shirt in MOE. I couldn't believe my eyes. Then there was a tourist who got off a bus to take pics of Jumeirah mosque (during Ramadan) and she was wearing a tight white partially see-through tank top and a short pink mini-skirt. Tourist...
