If you mean a prostitute, just walk the streets of Deira or visit the bar called Cyclone. Don't forget to wear a condom so you don't pass something nasty on to someone else. (Hopefully not a wife  ).

Concord, I mean posting style, sense of humour etc. Doesn't that make sense? It is exactly the same as why some people think I am a man. Somehow my posts don't scream "woman".

Oops, sorry  My mistake. We've had some questions on the forum about prostitutes before, so I mistook that meaning of paid guest. Forgive me. :D In Dubai, I have no clue about staying as a paid guest in someone's home. Seems most people here stay in regular hotels. Maybe someone else can help?

Whew, that was a long one! :D The way the US government is handling the case is wrong - there should either be enough evidence to bring formal charges to a judge in a reasonable amout of time, or you have to let the person go. The Enemy Combatant and other right-infringing laws the States put into e...

Hmmm, don't know why the one from Radio Shack didn't work. We bought our converter in Finland and have been using it for years when travelling - so far no problems with it. Then again we have used it for hair dryers and irons, not TVs etc. Can anyone else help TorontoSM?

I think it would be great to have more locals on here. It feels a bit weird to live in this country but hang out mostly with people of every nationality except Emirati.

Oh I see, so the media shouldn't be told that arrests have been made - just to protect the people who were arrested? Do you really think that Western governments are making up false evidence to charge Muslims with terrorism? Everything is a big conspiracy and set-up for Muslims? Give me a break. :ev...

Oh, so support sectarian violence - great idea! The resistance = Iranians, Syrians, Yemenis etc. who come across the borders to fight the coalition. Have the Iraqi people asked those men to come in and blow up Iraqi policemen, innocent women and children etc.? I don't think so. The coalition is ther...

I agree Chocs! The public has a right to know all the details, and anyone with half a brain knows that just because people are arrested doesn't mean they will be convicted.

Of course people get killed when there is military occupation. If insurgents weren't hiding in neighbourhoods and attacking the occupying forces, then the cities and towns could get back to rebuilding themselves instead of facing daily battles between coalition and other outsiders who have no busine...

No, I don't support Hezbollah. I believe that Lebanon should have one army that represents the interest of the people through their elected government. Hezbollah should be disarmed and the Lebanese army should step in to protect the country.

The fact remains that these guys are trying to perpetrate terrorism as radical Muslims. They are doing it in the name of Islam to punish the Western government for their actions in the Middle East. There are no Christians taking part - so far it has only been Muslims. The media always mentions the n...

uae75, there are some people claiming to be devout Muslims, who want to take part in Jihad against Western governments, yet you find out that they have been drinking, taking drugs, living with their girlfriends, and visiting strip joints. So it seems that they are religious enough to commit murder i...

Well, I wish I could have seen Freza's posts that got deleted. From my perspective it is still perfectly on topic to discuss why some people want to commit suicide attacks on innocent civilians. This thread is about planned terrorist attacks is it not? Of course, the wording is essential. Freza make...

So, when Hezbollah bombed the US army barracks in Beirut in the early 80's, that was defence was it?

Also, did the Lebanese government (which represents the Lebanese people) order Hezbollah to protect Lebanon by going across the border and killing and kidnapping Israeli soldiers?
