It was just what I heard straight from the doormen's mouth. But yeah the Lebanese go mental in the clubs too. Of course there are well off and harding working Indians/Asians too, but this is where they become a victim of pre-conceived ideas in the UAE, because the majority are employed as low wage ...

I searched some old posts and found that Emirates bank and HSBC seem to be the front runners, is this still the case? Any advice you can offer for someone opening an account here? If someone wante...

Do you think there would be demand for a UAE/expat guide?

Hey all, Well reading these and a few other forums was just wondering if there would be demand for a comprehensive UAE/EXPAT guide, available as an ebook, easily downloadble. This guide would basically answer all/most questions that would be expats have and also serve as a guide to all newcomers to ...

Actually the way they handled their mastercard issues with all their customers here a year ago was pathetic and that incident alone made me lose any trust and respect in their services.. not the way business is done and no excuse for it..

How much is the landline? installation and monthly fees? is there different provider than Etisalat? are they all with restrictions?...

As usual Fox gets it wrong. Jackson wants to go to Bahrain. Hippest city? And this is spread by who? The people in charge? 'Nothing's good enough unless it's the best'? Well there's lots of things here that aren't 'The Best'. In fact I'd have to say Dubai is starting to get a bad reputation. A mate...
