are you sure they check for passports, and not for labor cards?; which is what each employee really needs.

Thing is if a company takes your passport, they keep the labor card. The employee actually should have both, but rarely happens!

Yes, family or males can be easily sponsored. I don't think you'd be able to sponsor anyone on your salary. Minimum salary is AED 4000 if im not mistaken. Man, its so hard to sponsor single women. Hi all, Not sure how many of you saw my previous post about visit visas, but to make a long story short, i can't sponsor my girlfriend on a visit visa. Hi,
She holds an indian passport. I checked with dnata/emirates but they dont sponsor unaccompanied students (she's 21 in college).
Called up a few hotels too in dubai; they said she's too young etc.

Anyways, still trying thru some companies.
