United ? Kingdom Abroad ?

So whoever said English folk always get along well when they are abroad. I have seen far too many instances of the contrary in Dubai. Moreover, dubaiforums seems to be a reflection of this. With Speedhump (Long time Dubai advocate) and red kite (nuff said on that one), gone, it seems I see a correla...

Sadly that’s the grim reality when Banking in the GCC. The banks are all noobs with absolutely no sense of upholding the basic tenets of customer service. The only bank I would recommend for people in the UAE who are into heavy transactions and have significant savings is Lloyds TSB Middle East. The...

I think the majority of the international community are worried that Pakistan is a failed state that mixes fundamentalist ideology and military dictatorship to run the country. The fact that AQ Khan was a one stop shop for nuclear weapons says it all. Today the same terrorism that Pakistan has been ...

Gadaffi's Girls: When in Rome...colonel orders in 500 beauties but there's no booze and definitely no hanky-panky When an elderly gent places an order for 500 leggy lovelies to attend a party in Rome, scenes of a saucy nature would seem to be guaranteed. Not, however, when the customer happens to be...

Dude there are a plethora of gyms in dubai.

Mostly, under equipped, over charging and they close early.

Oh unless you want to join Fitness First and the big gyms that are over-crowded between 6-9 pm.

But then again, I find them considerably expensive for the over-all service one gets.

Re: Dubai debt problems

Re: This is why laws are confusing - hypocrisy!

Thanks Choc. At last people start realizing that Dubai is a F@*#ed up place not worth the trip. Give it a little time, and Dubai will lose 90% of its western population, it is inevitable. Forget the tourism, it is already over. Of course, the world is a small place, there are so many other amazing ...

Re: Unified GCC Anti-Tobacco Policies - Dubai Declaration

LOL Dubai has always been excellent in organising symposiums, joining trade fairs, coalitions and being the first in the news to highlight social issues on a regional and at times down right laughable, vanity project context. I loved the DUBAI CAREs marketing back in 2008 when Sheikh MO' doubled the...
