Hey! Even I was impressed Concord. Good on ya. My advice is to buy if you can afford too. Take care of the place and chances are you'll turn a profit. When you rent you line other people's pockets. When you own, you're investing in your own. My 2 cents!

I know this a forum about Dubai but...I have a friend I work with who is considering a position at a University in Doha. Does anyone know what the country & city are like? Is it similar to Dubai? How open is it? My friend is a woman. Married with a baby. Any info would be appreciated?

Thanks for the response! By open, I guess what I mean is that she could walk around in regular normal clothes, drive, do all the things she would be able to do in Dubai.

It's tragic and it happens all over the world. You hear stories like that over here in Canada all the time. It get quite warm here in the summer (30 degrees or so) but over there in the kind of heat you get...that's just insane! People, don't leave your pets or your children unattended in a car!

And then it looks like you printed it on your HP printer which no offense HP, but it'll look like crap! You need to take quality as well as type of stock needed for your stationary into consideration. Always use a print shop.

Nay good budget hotels in Dubai. It's very expensive to travel there from Canada so I won't have a lot of money left to stay at a big hotel. I'm talking cheap. All I need is clean and close enough to the core. Or is everything 5 star over there. I bet even the Holiday Inn's are $200 USD/night!
