Hi all, I know Visa and MasterCard are widely accepted in Dubai/Middle East but I was wondering if people here accept American Express equally?

My new corporate card is an AMEX, can anyone share their experiences with this card in the Middle East, specifically Dubai?

There is no proxy yet in internet city, although there has been talk that by August it will be blocked as well. there are ways around it, one person on this forum gave really good step by step instructions if you choose to search for it.

ADSM is a lot less liquid and more conservative, depends on what you are looking for. Personally i like DFM but both are in severe downturns so i'd be careful, good luck in what ever you decide.
