there is something going on, i'm experiencing similar slowdown issues and more so over the last week. I've heard similar complaints from others.

Very frustrating as you pay too much to begin with and even then you can't fully utalize what you do pay for.

i had my ps2 modded here for about AED 100, games are pretty readily available for about AED 10 each, i'd say a min of about 7 out of 10 you buy work great.

The Sharjah blue souk use to sell modded ps2s, no warranty but dvd and copied games work no prob.
