Actually it is more of a hill than a mountain but yes Jebal Ali translates to the mountain of Ali and is the name of the hill on the left hand side as you drive to Jebal Ali, at least that is what I was told.

Importing a car from another Emirate

Hey all, Was wondering if any of you had experience with this. I'm considering buying a car that is from Abu Dhabi, originally bought at Ali and Sons in AD and from the original owner and the vehicle is registered in Abu Dhabi, i.e. has AD plates, my residency is in Dubai and I would guess I have to...

Yes here they're 2 different things as well I don't know of sources for Platinum but i'll second the guys suggestion to haggle, even if you're at Malls in bigger brand stores it's to your benefit to try. Good luck. This brings an interesting point though for Muslim Males Gold and Silk are meant to b...

Just to make sure are you planning to use it connect your laptop to the internet i.e. use the BB as a modem or are you actually using the BB as a device itself for email and web? Nothing is worth it from Etisalat but have a read through the link below. http://www.dubaiforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=1468...

the one good thing about the BB service is it is unlimited for 3g you would pay a subscription for every X amount of bandwidth or pay the normal 1fil per kb, a good thing to do is really decide how much you'll use the phone. I'm sure others will offer their opinions.

There are rules in play for next year that will likely not allow any car over 10-15 years to be registered at the very least they will likely not be allowed to be imported. For ref, though a skyline can go from anywhere from AED 9k to 120 K for a 2000+ GTR 34 customized. There aren't too many ricers...
