Cheers for the advice dbxsoul, the emirates process seems to be very slow and no point just waiting for that to happen. Very frustrating that u can't speak with someone from emirates although realise that every man and his dog will be applying.

hello mate. best thing to do is... cancel the contract and bring a pay as u go sim...so u can top up online. T mobile is the cheapest for text. Then download skype to a memory stick in uk and upload it to a pc in Dubai. you can also use voipstunt here. (free to call landlines anywere in the world) ...

Canadian angel, see an earlier thread on personal sex toys, vibrators etc. I think u'd be ok to put it in ur suitcase, defo don't put it in ur hand luggage though, could be pretty embarrassing, unless u need to use it on the flight on the way over..........
