I think this is one of those famous FAILS again. You need various permissions to open a place of worship in most countries in the world including the west. Algerian law does not ban curches and there are many there.

Getting along with the debit card is just fine, infact I would suggest to you strongly to go that way. As a means of electronic payment debit cards/ATM cards here are just as good infact better as you only spend the money you have. It is not impossible to get a credit card, but a lot tougher nowaday...

Yeah but most expats want to come here and live the Jumeriah jane and joe lifestyle here and couldn't be arsed about rasing kids. Do and get things they could never ream of back home. So they get the "nannies" to do it while they go out and paint the town red.
