The larger villas have a good bit of space but the smaller ones are quite close together. Look at the first picture at the houses near the top right

Glad you're so happy with your investment. I still think they're too congested though and although the quality may appear to be good you never know what'll happen a few years down the line, or during the next downpore

The empire state building was built in just over a year and that was in the 1930s. Burj dubai by comparrison is taking about 4 years.

Guys, this is only a crappy drawing, plan view aswell so you can't see it properly. It's being designed by Zaha Hadid who's one of the world's best architects so it should be quite a sight if built.

Well, culture can mean anything which defines a certain place so I guess you could call bad driving part of dubai's culture

BTW, I think the architect designing the opera house is also doing a tower.

Anyway, I'm sure a lot of people know about the lighthouse incident and it seems another one has fallen through aswell ( Dubai Star in the jumeirah lake towers). One which I hate is one that's right beside chelsea tower, I think it's on the left, it's a typical tacky tower with bright red and blue colours and then roman columns at the bottom which don't match the rest of the tower at all. In the future it'll be the big ben replica

True, towers in the marina and on SZR are starting to look the same. Piling should finish in about two months or so. The main contractor will then be awarded and construction work will start immediately. They take this one year or whatever since launch whilst selling etc to go over tenders / choose the builders etc. Thanks, that's exactly the kind of thing I wanted ...
