my friend in all these cities there is a faster option of public transport like trains...but here you are stuck on your car seat and forced to go through hell...no other option

i think expensive is a relative term. 50 dhs may not be a big amount for you coz you are coming from places where purchasing power parity is very high as compared to dirhams...but for people from south asian countries it might be too high...people can have 10 meals in that amount in India and pakist...

i think jebel ali beach is pretty good....its not as crowded as jumeirah beach. You can go there and sit in peace.

go straight on sheikh zayed road. you have to take a right turn after the LOB buildings in jebel ali...i think that is towards gate no. 6 of jebel ali free zone...go straight on that road and you can find signs for jebel ali resort. Shooting range and jebel ali go carting clubs are also big landmark...

Take a peg of rum. put it on fire and drink it that way. its fun....and cold will be over in 30 minutes. dont take too much. it can be addictive.
