Yes, I have to admit to being a bit confused too. On the one hand, the poll asks us the rather Orwellian 1984-esque question of 'whether love should be allowed to exist in Dubai'. Umm, I hope so... On the other hand, your post asks what the craziest thing is that anyone has ever done... I don't know...

Evonax cafe/restaurant on Al Diyafah Street.
Great shisha, pretty decent donner kebab and even better alfredo pasta too - and all for a good price. Has become my 'local'...

But I am still scared stiff to try their famous health pizzas with 'skink'.

My all time favourite restaurant is the Summer Place Chinese (another Chinese!) at the Metropolitan. Also located in the Metropolitan is 'Fish Bazaar' - the Thai seafood restaurant. IMO, it is still one of Dubai's best kept secrets. If you are remotely keen on seafood, you must check this place out...

Yep, Tagaytay is lovely. I Went there last November. Just a day trip -we didn't go hiking or anything - but the scenery in general and surrounding towns are beautiful...
