Do the new ones flash? I saw about half a dozen flashes last night on SZ Rd in one trip between Dubai Marina and Defense roundabout (not at me ... I hope!). I thought that was unusually high.

Rent is falling. The Dubai rent index has guide prices (expensive since they're from 2008). Food not so much. Cars you might get good deals on luxury cars that have been abandoned. Or new and second hand cars from dealers as demand falls and stocks rise. Here's more about the Dubai cost of living :).

Classified ads - Gulf News or dubizzle.com seem to have the most.
2nd hand dealers but they're the same as anywhere.
