But also that it can take forever just to get your kids there and back! Some schools seem to start really early in the morni...

It depends what you say on the form, and what your visa says. If Muslim then probably not.

Re: NEED HELP PROMOTING MY WEBSITE

I need some advice as to how to go about promoting your site on the internet which people can see. Advertise - try Google adsense, or other ad providers like doubleclick (I presume there are UAE based organisations that do a similar thing but I don't know them). I think you can sponsor unmarried daughter but not son. If s/he working, should get visa from employer, if s/he studying, get student visa, if s/he a bum, I don't think DNRD offers bum visas yet ;).

I've met Lebanese and Egyptian Christians with Arabic sounding names so I don't imagine that's an issue. Somewhere in all the forums you fill in for visas etc you'll be asked what religion you are. And I think on the alcohol license application.

Only if you buy them from a registered and licensed governement approved furniture outlet. Try Onenightstands 'r' Us for a good selection. Otherwise you run the risk of deportation and a 6 month ban, unless you're from one of the 33 countries that get a free one-night-stand on arrival.

I think when it comes to work permit, if you are called a manager there are stricter requirements - you need a degree? But not for "executive" which could explain why the title is used much more.

There are pilot schools. I don't know how good they are, haven't heard of any students flying into the ground though.

DAE flight academy (Ras Al Khaimah)
Dubai Aerospace University - is closed last I heard
Emirates Aviation College
Horizon Flight Academy (Al Ain)
