Carrefour, Lulu, Geant etc usually sell polyester/cotton mix sheets which I find uncomfortable. I prefer 100% cotton. Ikea are good value, try also Home Center (I think), but for better quality, try one of the specialist shops in a big shopping center. I saw Geant were advertising 100% cotton sheets...

Here's a list of UAE colleges that might help but I think MC has mentioned all the main pharmacy related colleges.

There's also a website and forum called MashUp which is for UAE based students. You might find some useful info there.
