Either get a visit visa (ask at the nearest UAE embassy) and look for a job here, or get a job first. Employer should provide you with residency visa and labour card.

Should be fine if your passport is from the same country as your licence, and you have a residency visa. Although since RTA took over Dubai traffic related issues from the police, you never know.

Can you recommend any good agencies that we could speak to? Better Homes Landmark Asteco are three big ones that seem ok, more here ... Dubai real estate agents Mirdiff on the airport flight path so can be noisy. But a pleasant enough community. Used to be good value for money, less so now I think....

Wherever you have your marriage ceremony, I think you have to visit the Dubai Courts at some point to get an official legally valid marriage certificate. That might be the walkin place you're thinking of Ansa. More here - Marriage in Dubai.

There is such a thing as a temporary licence but it's not valid if you have a residency visa. Can't answer the question of registering a car with one sorry. Try asking at one of the bigger car dealers - they should know.
