Other hotels on SZ Rd near there are more expensive. Further away is Karama which might have something, or in the other direction is a Holiday Inn near Safa Park I think. Might also be a Rotana Centro in Satwa (was planned, don't know if open yet).

Anyone know when it's due to open? I heard somewhere it was mid or end of February. Last official information from the RTA was by the end of February, but there was a 7 Days story in January that opening would be delayed until April 2010. The RTA didn't comment so it's probably correct ;)... http:/...

Should be interesting to see if they actually achieve their objectives. The RTA press release only named 7 stations opening on 25 April, with the others opening later in 2010. Maybe they have learnt not to be so optimistic with their statements - in January they said everything was on schedule. htt...

JH to Sharjah much easier drive than AUH-SHJ. Several ways to get into SHJ from Al Ain with less traffic than AUH-SHJ route. Distance in km probably similar.
