or how one of the policemen didnt give a fine to one of your airhostess friends who works for Emirates Wow . I didn't know that. Do you think airhostesses know they can get fined for working for Emirates? Or is it just that Emirates airhostesses aren't allowed to be friends with forum members?

Norwegians can renew visa every 30 days by doing a visa run to Hatta repeatedly. Cheap or free. Or renew (only once) at DNRD for 500 or 600 dhs. http://www.dubaifaqs.com/visit-visa-renewal.php Property owners can get 6 month multi-entry renewable visa. Expensive and probably not a proper residence v...

Yes, you both need residence visas AFAIK.

You could try Ajman, UAQ, RAK - smaller emirates sometimes more flexible with rules but you'd probably have to know someone.

Get married in the UK? Or Las Vegas?

This is why a bridge / causeway is planned between Abu Dhabi and Qatar. You could use that but will have to wait a few years until it's open.

Complain to Sharjah labour department for settlement, and immigration department for visa non-cancellation. Or both at labour department.

You might not get much joy from them but I don't know of any other legal way if your employer is not co-operating.

If you're a student then the college should know.

Dubai Health Department info says Muhaisnah, Satwa, Al Twar, Khawaneej, Dubai Airport. Or Al Safa if you want VIP service.

Hotels ask for ID when you check in. If couple checks in they only ask for one passport usually. If you just going to visit, unlikely you will be stopped. Bigger hotels have restaurants and bars that expat residents visit so there is high traffic of non-guests.
