Sounds expensive to me. Villa shares in Jumeirah are closer to 4k-6k for ensuite room, maybe pool included. Check Spinneys noticeboard for comparison.

$132k is about 40k dhs per month. Good salary depending on how senior your position is. You have to pay for your own accommodation? 9k per month gets you good 1 bdrm apt - but you have to pay 1 year in advance.
