If its a mobile laser they can set the limit to whatever they like, so if its 120 theres no reson why they cant set the gun to 121, 125 etc.

However in the UK the police standard is speed limit plus 10% speedo error, plus 2 mph. So in a 30 limit the radar is set @ 35

Dont people defend this in court.? No car speedo is guaranteed accurate especially if the conviction was within 10% of the speed limit.

Arniegang You say Dubai inc is near on bankrupt. Is it that bad ? Sheikh Mo is very wealthy , is he not? Besides, Abu Dhabi has BIG money , so they surely won't let Dubai get into trouble? The problem is getting CUSTOMERS from the west to buy all the expensive property. The west is suffering job lo...

Arnie, Bit contradictory to say the Brits are the BIGGEST visitor group to Dubai, whilst they are not now. That suggests visitor number have dropped like a stone. Besides , that World Visitor Numbers item on http://www.visit-dubai.co.uk suggests that Russians make up 27 pc of total, whilst ALL of t...

The difference between Dubai and say the UK, US, Can and Aus is that when a recession hits people may loose their jobs but they still have their family and a place to live called HOME.

In Dubai people loose their job, and they leave the country

It isn't rocket science.

In contrast i have made it and i made it well. I was one of the first in May 2002 that enbraced and shared the same vision of Dubai. I bought 4 properties, 2 on the Palm Jumeira (shoreline), 1 in Phase 2 Marina and a cheeky little purchase in JBR. I sold off 3 in mid 2007 and sold my "home&quo...

The figure for DH is actually 800. And dont forget these figures are only what is published and obviously censored in the papers. Personally i would totally ignore what we read in the papers and at least treble it. What we dont hear about is the acumlative numbers of small business's, shop workers. ...

stupid me I thought it is a global recession. Robbie i have never lived in dubai. I had a 3 year residency permit until last september, but i chose not to live in Dubai. My place on the marina was my holiday home.
