Barsha is considered a dump, this is not just my personal opinion it is that of the general consensus.

I am sure there are a few nice places scattered about but that still doesn't make it a desireable place to live for the average expat, when compared to Ranches, Marina, Palm etc.

They won't give you a car with resident visa in your passport and national lisense... I have rented a car many times with residen...
