I expect your doctor is thinking exactly the same as me Bushy and i wouldn't prescribe you with what you want either.

If you feel that sick, the body will naturally react to fingers down your throat. Many young ladies do this regularly.

it isnt a doctor you need to see Bushy

The market is now on the down - hold on to your hats for a rough ride, wait a year then grab yourself a bargin and i promise you there will be plenty. Arnie, how much do you expect the market on completed (and off-plan) apartments to drop next year? $64000 question mate - the only certainty is down...

Re: Some questions on salary and housing

1. What purpose does it serve when the total compensation package is divided into basic salary, housing allowance and transportation allowance? I assume I can divide the total package the way I want to, regardless of the division the company made? 2. What is the best place to live when you work in ...

For example with as little as a 25% downturn in price on a 3million Dhm 2 bed appt in the Manina area, will equate to a loss of 750,000 Dhs over say 5 years. Say the rental started at 200k per year and reduce this over the same period you end up being even. Dont forget in this calculation assuming ...

people need to also remember that over the next 5 years the demand/supply ratio will change in favour to over supply, this compounds the losses in sales and the bigger reductions in rent.

i think max, the bailout in the UK and US is an actual injection of cash, the sub prime problem here and over the pond has meant the banks have not got enough cash due to a higher ratio of lending to deposits.

both above posters are near enough spot on, but i would er' on the caution and add 10%. Dont forget in UK there is a huge difference between gross salary and net salary, basically factor in tax @ 20% upto £32k then 40% above that and national insurance @ 11%. The cost of public transport is horrendo...

These are official figures from the Ministry and it records the actual population growth in Dubai as well as UAE over the years. I don't see any reason for distortion or intent to mislead. In fact, I am not surprised with the figures as they co-relate somewhat to the ever increasing number of cars ...

BritishArab

I would kindly ask to post your narrow minded views elsewhere in this forum ie politics and not in General please.

At the end of the day they are not your views, you have merely copied and pasted your posts from elsewhere on the web.

nope, i am a brit and i recently asked at immigration at DXB, and a 30 day stamp means a 30 day visit as is the no return rule. the government website also confirms this. In dubai you can ring any government office and speak to 10 different people and get 10 different replies to the same question. ....

There will be a correction in prices, but not a drop. The price increases may well drop, but I'm not convinced the prices themselves will drop in the immediate future. Oversupply will hit the market but in the short-term this will only affect the size of investors' premiums and they won't be making...

the new immigration rules are now in force

Brits and Yanks now only get 30 days and that is what is on the visa stamp.

And yup, the no return rule is now in force too

You can apply for a multi entry visa if you get your wallet out.
