something else to bear in mind is the fact that banks will not lend funds until completion. Therefore buyers have to raise capital to fund the stage payments before having a completion certificate and therefore a mortgage.

The days of 70% on completion are long gone

As the drugs are low (and sometimes not so low) grade amphetamines, you may find there are restrictions on their availability and use. Instead of doping your kids, you might like to try alternative medicine, such as a kick in the behind and discipline. I could not have put this better myself, nice ...

if you want nice 3 bed villa + maid in Jumeria you need to think about taking another 10k a month from your salary to pay for your rent. Why would any expat move their family for a measly 20-25k a month salary amazes me. My daughter earns nearly that, fresh from Uni working for local government.

Well considering the project won't be finished until december 2009, it's impossible to say what the going rate will be. But I will be looking at the rates hotels would charge for furnished serviced apartments. It will take alot of research, because of the location, the calender of events, it will fl...

You're just a plonker. And why am I a hypocrit? Your apartment is a good size, has great facilities etc et...

Arnie, we already know that you have a 'biased' opinion. Plus you seem to have missed that fact that I've already wished you luck with it on several occassions, if you can do it great! But just be aware of other factors is all. Nothing left to say in this discussion. dont understand the biased opin...

Depending on his position the salary offered may, or may not be market value. However, GBP78k a year (tax-free) by UK standards it not bad. How many people in London earn that?
