The only thing I said was that it is impossible to predict, the same way that back in 2000/2001 nobody was able to predict what would be happening here today. One year ago everyone was predicting that prices will fall especially when JBR comes on the rental market, well its here, and the prices are...

A question for you Marketing people

Not being into Marketing i thought i would run this past you. In UK we have a huge Chain of supermarkets called Tesco. THey sell everything from food to Car Insurance. THey are very competitive especially for their insurance products. Why would they advertise on TV that they have set up a new "...

I dont see how. Lets assume there is a cheaper product out there and there probably is, if that came up on their site as the cheapest then Tesco would not sell any of their own products.

Why would they set up a site that may in effect shoot themselves in the foot?

Ebonics you are on very unsound ground when you start preching about the Saudi's and their interpretation of Islam. It is generally accept from all faiths including well learned Islamists and muslims in general that the Saudi's are a joke in how they have their own intepretation of Islam. its not t...

Because its not necessarily about price. There will be cheaper products but the inclusions will not be the same, and the criteria for obtaining them may be harder. this should be reflected in their comparison chart. the bigger question is - Should you buy insurance from a supermarket? In the aisle ...

Arnie, everything you've said qualifies you to have an opinion and nothing more. If markets and crashes were that easy to predict, people wouldn't fling themselves out of buildings... in fact, there would be no booms and no busts... just a flat line. But the truth of the matter is, everyone saying ...

no worries they dont do the eqiv of CRB checks in Dubai.

Anyways a caution would not appear on a CRB check, only "convictions", a caution does not come into that category so you are ok.

Re: What happens if I die in Dubai without a Will?

I am a British expat moving to Dubai and I am very concerned that if I die my assets will be distributed in accordance with Muslim Sharia Law. No, in your case since you're an expat from UK, the UK law shall take precedence over the UAE law when it comes to your will. However; it will be a differen...

Ben

How can you remove a cultural difference when incorporating Sharia Law into the British system.

If it was, it would no longer be sharia law and therefore no point in incorporating it.

THe British Legal constitution would never allow cultural differences.
