Watched it this afternoon; action's simply on another level. Very violent, but really good movie IMO..

Ok, I'm very new to this forum, but lately I've been lurking around and reading the most recent posts - you guys (chocoholic and firefingersx) seem like arch-rivals or something!

From my experience, where you'd prefer staying is New Dubai I guess. The Springs, The Greens, Dubai Marina (as said above), The Arabian Ranches... most of these places have a large western presence.

Mad about football... but can't really play it much now thanks to the heat!

Football is SO much more entertaining, doesn't take more than 2 hours of your time AND is so much faster!

It's in Dubai Media City. You get onto SZR, head towards Abu Dhabi, and a little after the Greens/Springs exit, comes the Dubai Media City Exit. Saw Dark KNight this w/e. Was actually quite disappointed. I think it tried to be a little too clever for it's own good - despite some spectacular fight/ explosion scenes. Ol' Heath was pretty scarey. RIP. Same here! Though I actually saw it a week back. But maybe I went in with too many expectatio...

Nothing, just wondering if there's any uni crowd here, that's all. Is the UOWD campus still in KV or has it shifted to Academic City?
