I was watching this programme on UAE's only english channel by Ali who is an emarati promoting UAE cultural.

the emarati 'Gatara' was originally used to cover face from the blowing sand and now it worn in a veil kind of a way by men as well...interesting to know that...

the natural perfumes (oil) they use is from various products such as wood, flowers and are very very expensive

this one was a litter new to me....

When i look at an Arab... i only know that they all speak Arabic...
But in UAE itself they have different backgrounds and various differences in opinion...

a normal emarati name is
first name
surname
family name
tribe name (generally with AL) or
areas name/ mountains name/ landmark or anything indicating the belonging...

yes i agree that western country citizens get higher pay compare to asians

Basically they all have a American, UK, Australian or equivalent degrees...
with first language as English...
Education/ traing level is higher (more professional)

Well sometimes it is the communication gap as well...
Most emarati's are not very fluent in english which creates misunderstanding...

...but i must agree that not all are efficient... i have lots of emarati close friends but i feel they lack the capability of understanding things quickly... may be they have never been exposed to it before... and what we feel is that they just want to ignore the job alloted to them... i call this c...

HSBC is the most expensive bank i have come across in UAE

Last year i came across that UAE has transparency....
Which means no one can cheat ANYMORE...

In west family means husband, wife and children Only

In east family means father, mother, brother, sister, uncle , aunty, grand parents, cousins, spouse children....
