hi, i started using ultraVPN. my only concern is, if etisalat can detect it. can it see that we are using it?

thanks for reply, i just wanted to confirm because i read somewhere that if etisalat finds a person using some sort of VPN, then strict action will be taken against that person.

I went to the ajman branch of etisalat, because that's where I live. the guy there was, firstly very rude to me and was not answering proerly and secondly, he told me it's only available for new buildings that have FTTH.

I dont use torrent because i think its too slow. I can't bear to wait a whole day to wait for the download to finish.

Besides with this blocking system, many trackers are not available.

The best is to use megaupload and rapidshare!!:D

speedtest net is also a good site to check the speed. There they show the global stats for countries, and ISP. they show the average speed for dubai and my ISP(etisalat) around 1.38mbps..
