Ok, I'll entertain this... so how exactly do you change gears with a double clutch car? Use both feet to depress the clutches and maybe a third foot to rev match on the accelerator?

I think XRW is being sarcastic ross ie he wasnt being serious, he was making light hearted fun at the situation in his office and towards the situation/subject. It wasnt meant to be personal. I can give you a range of what we pay someone for a similar role - 10-15k/month + 120k pa housing allowance + 3500/mth transport allowance. All electricity, water, gas etc are also bourne by the company.

120K per annum housing allowance :shock: :shock: :shock: for a single bloke!! That is beyond our family allowance!! :shock: Our housing and car allowance is dependant on job grade. Someone at his grade and being single would receive that housing allowance. If you have a family then + 15kAED.

The pain and suffering of that is not worth the 15k more allowance and +5% premium pay

Actually, the idea of a hub dyno is to reduce frictional loss, not "slip". By eliminating all the variable factors associated with your typical roller dyno (tyre type, air pressure, diameter, etc, etc) you are able to produce consistent (comparably measurable) power/torque readings.

I'd suggest getting the dyno serviced then. I've seen 900+hp supras and 1000+hp commodores take to a roller dyno with no problem at all. I know there are some good ones around judging by some of the fine machines I've seen at the drag strip (mind you most are from other parts of the emirates) but I ...
